Borussia Dortmund and the European IT security manufacturer ESET will continue their successful cooperation. The Slovakian company will remain a Champion Partner of BVB for at least two more seasons. As in the past three years, ESET's name will be clear for all to see on the LED advertising hoardings during BVB's 17 Bundesliga home games.

"From the very beginning, we got the feeling that ESET and Borussia Dortmund were a good match, as we are united by values such as courage, passion, integrity and reliability. After three seasons, which have not been easy for any of us due to the coronavirus pandemic, we have come to a clear conclusion: the collaboration with Borussia Dortmund is a complete success," said Richard Marko, CEO of ESET.

"We are very pleased that the cooperation between Borussia Dortmund and ESET will continue. The collaboration with our Champion Partner from Slovakia has seen two strong, international brands have come together, which fit together perfectly," said Carsten Cramer, managing director of Borussia Dortmund. "With great campaigns for fans, ESET has repeatedly made its mark and drawn great attention over the past three seasons. I am convinced that we will continue to experience a lot together with ESET in the coming seasons."

Not only football, but technology is constantly evolving, But this process is now more vulnerable to attacks than ever. With its brand message "Progress.Protected.", ESET promises to protect this progress with its IT security products and services. ESET is also an IT security partner and is responsible for keeping BVB's IT infrastructure safe.

Despite the coronavirus pandemic, many successful activities such as content formats, numerous competitions and other campaigns have been implemented successfully. In the next two seasons, ESET intends to build on these activities and is already planning further campaigns for BVB fans on digital channels, as well as on various offline channels. One key piece of the puzzle here is ESET's SafeKidsOnline project, which aims to boost the media literacy of children and their parents online.
