The season is going much better than expected for Felix Passlack on a personal level, but the game against 1. FC Cologne did not go well for BVB. The defender spoke to pay-TV broadcaster Sky after the final whistle.

Felix Passlack, what's your initial reaction to the third defeat of the season?
We certainly didn't do enough in the first half. We were asleep at the set-pieces, but we tried to turn the game around in the second period.

Lucien Favre said before the match that playing against Cologne is difficult. BVB experienced that for 90 minutes today, didn't they?
Cologne changed their game. They were more defensive and played on the counter. They did it very well, you have to say.

From a Dortmund perspective, was what happened today just one of those days?
Afternoons like this can happen, but in the first half in particular there was too much imprecision, too many misplaced passes. We didn't create really clear goalscoring opportunities. We gave it everything after the break and threw everything forward, but in the end we come away with no points.

Both the goals you conceded came from corners and were very similar. How does that happen?
I'd need to take a look at the goals we conceded first; I wasn't directly involved in the penalty area either. But in principle we mark man to man, and everyone stays on their man."
