"The stadium was magical"

Sebastian Kehl (in the mixed zone): "Great credit to the team and the coaching staff for the way that they prepared for the game. We managed to make history once again and to qualify for the semi-final once again. An unbelievable energy could be felt, also among the spectators. I'm happy that we were able to offer our fans a highlight again. It's already a statement to be among the best four teams in Europe. But we also know that we now need two wins against Leverkusen and Leipzig in order to be able to play in this competition next year too. A team with a great deal of quality that impressively won in Barcelona awaits us in PSG. We will prepare ourselves for both games in a highly focused manner."

Niklas Füllkrug (to BVB TV): "Champions League semi-finals – it's crazy. If you look at my path, it's something really, really amazing. It was great to have experienced this game on the pitch for 90 minutes today. The stadium was magical, the atmosphere unbelievable. We on the pitch had a crazy energy because of it. Nobody spared themselves a metre, we were extremely hard-working and immediately got behind the ball. They found footballing solutions in the second period because they switched and brought on two one-on-one-players who caused problems for us. I think the reaction afterwards is much more worth mentioning. You make it 3-2, you make it 4-2 – and you can make it 5-2. It was a mentally strong performance."

Marcel Sabitzer (to Prime): "It was an indescribable feeling, an emotional rollercoaster. We played a top first half but then let them back into the game – that was annoying. But we believed, the stadium carried us, it was an unbelievable atmosphere. We're very happy that we're in the semi-finals. Tuesday evening, Champions League, 80,000: it's what you dream about as a small boy. If you can experience it, you're so motivated and you run the extra metre. I'm happy that I was able to help the team. We fought and were good on a footballing level. We had Paris in the group; we were inferior away, at home it was open. We want to reach the final, that's our objective."

Gregor Kobel (to BVB TV): "We're totally happy. The stadium got crazy into it. I was very positive today, even when we conceded the goal for 2-2. I didn't have any major worries; rather, I was sure that we would still score at least one in order to take it to extra-time. We can be proud of the fact that we scored two. It will be a special thing to be on the pitch for Dortmund in the semi-final. Everything is possible in a semi-final. We need to focus on ourselves, play our game and show passion on the pitch."

Julian Brandt (to Prime): "Such nights are special. This Champions League season is particularly special. We're playing good football and getting the fans on board, especially at home. It was an amazing game for everyone who came to the stadium. We played a super first half and had the game under very good control apart from the chance for Morata. The response (to the two conceded goals) was sensational. Marcel Sabitzer had a brutal impact. We're already been able to play against Paris twice. We're in the semi-finals – it no longer makes any sense to lose. But first of all we have a brutal game here on Sunday, then a very important match in Leipzig."
