Borussia Dortmund and SC Paderborn are gearing up for their third competitive meeting at the Strobelallee. Below you will find all the facts and figures on the Westphalian derby, which takes place on Friday (20:30 CET) at Signal Iduna Park.

The scenario: Sixth-placed BVB have never lost a competitive game against bottom-of-the-table Paderborn, winning three and drawing one. They have met twice in the Bundesliga and twice in the DFB Cup. BVB won their last two meetings – in April and October 2015 – by a combined scoreline of 10-1.

Home/away: The Black & Yellows have won five of their last six home games, drawing the other. In addition, they have tasted defeat in only one of their past 22 home games in the Bundesliga and found the net at least once in each of their last 30 league matches on home soil – an ongoing club record. Paderborn, meanwhile, have lost their last three away matches and are still winless on the road this term.

Personnel matters: BVB are without the injured Delaney (torn ankle ligament), while Ritter (groin problems) is sidelined for SCP.

Head-to-head record: BVB have scored at least two goals in each of their four competitive meetings with SCP (16 in total). Their Bundesliga clashes have yielded one win and one draw for the Black & Yellows, who have prevailed in both cup ties. The last time they met, at Signal Iduna Park in the 2015/16 DFB Cup Second Round, BVB came from 1-0 down to smash a Paderborn side then coached by Stefan Effenberg 7-1.

Statistics: The match in Munich was the only time Borussia Dortmund have lost in their last eight league games. Only three teams have scored more goals than BVB (23) and no club has kept more clean sheets (4). Paderborn are the team with the fewest victories to their name, having only won one game to date, and the most defeats (9 already). Furthermore, SCP have failed to find the net in both of their last two matches.

The attendance: SIGNAL IDUNA PARK is 100% sold-out with 81,365 spectators set to attend. Paderborn are bringing an away contingent of 6,700 fans.

Referee: Lebecksmühle native Christian Dingert, 39, is preparing to referee his 128th match in the Bundesliga and his 11th involving Borussia Dortmund. The last BVB game he oversaw was the 3-2 victory in Cologne on Matchday 2. Dingert referees for Burg Lichtenberg in the South-West German Football Association and has been part of the DFB refereeing team since 2002.
