BVB travel to SV Werder Bremen on Saturday (kick-off 18:30 CET). Around 4,000 fans will be travelling from Dortmund to support the Black & Yellows at the Weser Stadium. Here is a summary of the most important information for all BVB fans travelling with the team.

Travel

Arrival by public transport:

The following tram lines stop five minutes away from the stadium:

  • From the main station: Line 10 direction Sebaldsbrück, exit St. Jürgen Str.
  • From the city centre: Line 2 direction Sebaldsbrück, exit St. Jürgen Str. and line 3 direction Weserwehr, exit Weserstadion.
  • A match ticket entitles you to free travel to the stadium on BSAG and VBN buses and trains.

Bus:

  • Buses can be parked at Osterdeich near the stadium.
  • The address for navigation is: Osterdeich 90 in 28205 Bremen.

Cars/nine-seaters:

  • Please note that there are no car parks for cars or nine-seaters available at the stadium or in its immediate vicinity.
  • Away fans arriving by car or nine-seater are advised to use the "Hemelinger-Hafen" park & ride car park, which is signposted from the A1 Hemelingen Autobahn exit.
  • Please note that the Park & Ride car park is used by both home and away fans.
  • pA shuttle bus transfer will be organised from there to the stadium.

Entrance

  • The stadium opens 90 minutes before kick-off, at 17:00 CET. 
  • The entrance to the away section is at gate 10. 
  • The usual control measures will take place at the entrance to the stadium. In addition, there are selective intensive checks, which can be carried out at the request of the person checking in the visible container directly at the entrance or in the outside area and can be accompanied by fan representatives and the fan project.
  • In order to streamline admission to the away section, there is a separate entrance for fan paraphernalia (with a view of the entrance on the left).
  • Obviously intoxicated fans may be refused entry to the stadium.

Permitted fan paraphernalia

  • Four megaphones (already allocated)
  • Five drums (open and visible on one side, already allocated)
  • Flags (up to two metres pole length)
  • 15 large waving flags (up to two metres pole length)
  • Double holders (up to two metres pole length)
  • Fence flags (as long as space is available on fences; please note that the fence flags are attached to the fence from the inside).

Please note that flagpoles must be made of PVC and must be hollow on the inside from a diameter of 3 cm.

For safety reasons, it is strictly forbidden to climb over the fence system in front of the away section onto the protective cover in front of it. Infringements of this rule will be penalised accordingly.

Please also note that fan paraphernalia with clearly discriminatory, racist, offensive or violence-glorifying content is not permitted in accordance with the stadium regulations and will be refused. This also applies to clothing brands that can be attributed to the extreme right-wing scene.

It is imperative that the entrances to the away section are kept clear. Please also make sure that no gaps are left in the away section so that all visiting fans can be accommodated in the sold-out away section.

  • Digital cameras (no professional devices/mirror reflex cameras) for private use
  • Bags and rucksacks smaller than DIN A4 size
  • Powerbanks the size of the palm of your hand
  • E-cigarretes 

Forbidden items 

  • Bags and rucksacks larger than DIN A4
  • Tube scarves 
  • All types of pyrotechnics 
  • All types of weapons

Info for a barrier-free stadium visit 

  • There are 100 barrier-free parking spaces available in car park P4.
  • If a parking ticket is required, please contact Jenny Eickhoff (jenny.eickhoff@werder.de) in good time.

Additional information

  • There is a small drop-off point for bags and rucksacks at the away entrance.
  • The purchase of food and drinks is only possible using EC and credit cards.
  • Werder Bremen urgently requests that no drinks, cups or food be thrown into the blocks below. In the event of serious incidents, it will be forbidden to take food and drink into the block at future matches.
  • Anyone who feels harassed, molested or threatened in the stadium can contact SV Werder Bremen staff directly by saying "Do you know MIKA?" or by calling 0421/43 45 9 4000. You will receive discreet and direct help without having to ask any questions. You can find more information about Werder's awareness concept here.
  • From a quarter of an hour before kick-off until 15 minutes after the final whistle, Werder Bremen asks all stadium visitors not to smoke. This also applies to e-cigarettes.
